Softball Field

Smith's new softball complex opened in the spring of 2018. The updated softball facility includes larger, enhanced brick dugouts with new benches, heaters and furnishings, a team room attached to the home dugout, and bullpens and batting cages on the home and visitor sides. In addition, a new and improved scoreboard and press box will be installed along with a netting backstop system to enhance the fan experience. The stadium will now hold a capacity of 180 spectators.

Directions and Parking:

From the South: Northampton is on Route I-91 in Massachusetts. Take Exit 18, and follow Route 5 north into the center of town. Turn left onto Route 9.

From the North: From I-91 South, take Exit 20, and follow onto Route 5 south into the center of town. At the intersection of Route 5 and Route 9 (Main Street), turn right onto Route 9.

From the East or West via the Massachusetts Turnpike: Northampton is on Route I-91 North (Mass Pike exit 4). Once on I-91, follow the directions above for visitors from the south.

Follow directions above to Route 66. Continue on Route 66 across small bridge. Turn right at the black sign for Smith College Athletic Fields. Parking is available along the white fence. Walk towards the tennis courts/turf field until you reach the field.
