CHICOPEE, Mass. - Smith College swimming and diving head coach
Kim Bierwert recorded his 200th career win as a head coach, with a 128-101 victory over Elms College Tuesday evening. Now in his 40th year at the helm of the Pioneers, Bierwert boasts a career record of 200-160-3. Smith improves to 2-3 on the season.

Highlights
- The 200 yard medley relay of Ann Mudanye (Kampala, Uganda), Sophie Shapiro (Brooklyn, N.Y./Bard High School Early College II), Aidan Coffin Ness (Madison, Wis.), and Charlotte Samuels (Ridgewood, N.J.) took first place with a time of 2:33.00.
- Kate Niemiec (South Windsor, Conn. ) picked up a pair of victories in the 50 fly (31.99) and 200 free (2:26.44) while Abby Onos (South Portland, Maine/South Portland) won the 100 fly (1:12.48) and 200 breast (2:59.52).
- Abby Bergman (Culver City, Calif./Vistamar)'s night consisted of wins in the 100 breast (1:21.01) and 400 free (2:59.52).
- Michaela Stamm (Henderson, Nev.) touched the wall first in the 100 free in 1:11.04 while Aidan Coffin Ness (Madison, Wis.)' time of 1:27.83 was also good for a first place finish.
The Pioneers return to action Friday evening at Westfield State.
