A successful day in the pool was highlighted by 28 season best times as the Smith College swimming and diving team topped Westfield State 167-110 on November 21, 2015. The Pioneers won 11 out of 16 events on the afternoon.Â
SCOUTING THE OWLS
The Westfield State swimming and diving team won the first five events and two athletes each won a pair of races as the Owls swam past Mount Holyoke, 163-122 this past Saturday. Junior Tia Pariseau claimed the 50 and 100 breaststroke events, sophomore Shannon Fitzsimmons won the 200 and 500 freestyle races.

Abby Bergman (Culver City, Calif./Vistamar)'s night consisted of wins in the 100 breast (1:21.01) and 400 free (2:59.52).
