THE SERIES
Smith and Williams College will meet for the 30th time on Tuesday evening in a series that dates back to 1973. The Ephs hold a 24-4-1 advantage all-time and have won nine consecutive games against the Pioneers.

LAST MEETING
After Beatrice Chaudoin (Millersville, Md./Severna Park) gave Smith a 1-0 lead at #18 Williams, the Ephs used a single goal in each half to sneak past the Pioneers 2-1 on September 22, 2015.

LAST SMITH WIN
The Pioneers won a 3-2 decision on September 21, 1993.

SCOUTING THE EPHS
Williams is coming off a 2-1 loss to Colby College Saturday in NESCAC action as Hannah Goodrick's penalty stroke was the only score for the Ephs. Williams returns 18 players, eight of whom have started in previous seasons. The squad will be led by NFHCA All-New England midfielder Alex Bennett, who had four goals and one assist in 2015. Bennett has already matched her scoring total from a season ago. The Ephs average 2.00 goals per game, while the defense allows 2.5 gpg. Senior goalkeeper Margaret Draper has played every minute in the cage so far this season, owning a 2.00 goals against average and .742 save percentage.

SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
Smith looks for their third consecutive win tonight and to knock off their second NESCAC opponent this season. Sophomore Bayleigh Bogan (Encinitas, Calif./La Costa Canyon) assisted on both goals in a 2-1 victory over WPI in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) opener Saturday afternoon. Senior forward Elsie Odhiambo (Oyugis, Kenya/Kisumu Girls School) was named NEWMAC Offensive Athlete of the Week Monday by the conference office for her three goal performance over two wins last week. Smith averages 1.67 goals per game. Junior goalkeeper Cameo Tieije owns a 2.43 goals against average and .742 save percentage.
