FIVE THINGS TO KNOW

•  The Smith College field hockey team looks to get back in the win column Wednesday afternoon against Lasell. 

 

• The Pioneers gave up a season-high five goals in Saturday's NEWMAC loss to Springfield College, their worst loss to the Pride since the 2013 season.

 

• Senior goalkeeper Cameo Tietje (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) owns a 1.86 goals against average and .813 save percentage...Caroline Labriola (Westbrook, Conn./Westbrook) and Julia Hamilton (Williamstown, Mass./Deerfield Academy) power the offense with three goals each.

 

• At 11-2, Lasell has achieved their best record in program history and has totaled seven shutouts.

 

• Leading the Laser offense is Nikki Pignone and her 14 goals followed by Samantha Taylor and Cailin Flannery who have 10 goals each.
