FIVE THINGS TO KNOW

• The Pioneers posted a 176-121 win over the Owls last season, earning 12 first place finishes out of 16 events.

• Smith aims to get back in the win column after their 168-127 loss to Springfield last week.

• Charlotte Crandall (Lawrence, KS) and Abby Bergman (Culver City, Calif./Vistamar) delivered first place times in the 200 back and 200 IM, respectively.

• Sophomore Kelsey Johnstone was named the Little East Conference swimmer of the week after a trio of wins in the 100 free, 100 breast, and 100 IM against Mount Holyoke Saturday.

• Freshman Kait Kelly earned LEC Rookie of the Week honors after first-place finishes in the 50 butterfly (29.06) and 100 backstroke against Western New England.
