FIVE THINGS TO KNOW

• The Smith College field hockey team looks for consecutive wins for the first time this season in tonight's game against No. 12 Williams.

 

• This will be the second ranked opponent and third NESCAC team the Pioneers will face in 2017.

 

• Sophie Chase (Milton, Mass./Milton) totaled a goal and an assist in the Pioneers' NEWMAC opener against Wheaton Saturday.

 

• Caroline Labriola (Westbrook, Conn./Westbrook)'s two goals leads the Smith offense...Cameo Tietje (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) recorded the eighth shutout of her career Saturday against Wheaton.

    

• Junior Libby Dolan had a hand in six of the Ephs' nine goals last week...She netted all three Eph tallies in a 3-0 win over Mount Holyoke, then added two goals and one assist in a 4-1 win at Colby for a total of 11 points.
