HOW IT HAPPENED
27:24 - MIT - Devon Goetz dribbled down the right sideline beating multiple Smith defenders before she cut into the circle and flicked the ball over
Channy Cornell (Arlington, Tex./The Oakridge School) for her 16th goal of the season.
68:43 - SMITH - On Smith's fifth penalty corner of the game, Chaudoin received the insertion pass at the top of the circle and slipped it left to junior
Sammie Pavlov (Royersford, Pa./Westtown School) who ripped a shot into the back of the goal. Pavlov's tally was her team-leading 11th of the year.
69:22 - With 38 seconds left on the clock, junior
Anna Ballou (Deerfield, Mass./Deerfield Academy) had a chance to put the game away for the Pioneers but her uncontested shot went just wide of the cage.
71:31 - MIT drew their first corner of the game where Cornell made back-to-back saves on shots from Amanda Garofalo and Emma Majercak.
72:38 - SMITH - Larosee pressured the MIT defense inside the circle, gained control of the ball and ripped a shot to the left post for the game-winning goal.
