The Smith College soccer team held off Mount Holyoke College, 2-1, in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) match Tuesday afternoon.

  • 53' - SMI - Peyton McBride (Manchester, N.H./Goffstown) unassisted
  • 57' - MHC - Zoraida Ibarra assisted by Hannah Finn-Erb
  • 58' - SMI - Etienne Oliver (Sandy, Ore./The Catlin Gabel School) assisted by Jessica Matsuoka (Redding, Conn./Joel Barlow)

GAME NOTES
  • Smith held a commanding 17-2 advantage in shots on goal and 15-1 edge in penalty corners
  • The Pioneers improve to 33-13-4 all-time against the Lyons
  • For McBride, it was her sixth goal of the season, while Oliver has now registered three in 2019
