WORCESTER, Mass. - The Smith College swimming and diving team won three events during a series of dual meets on Friday night at WPI's Sports and Recreation Pool. The Pioneers fell to the host Engineers (223-76), Babson (174-119), Simmons (171.50-126.50), and Brandeis (168-125).

DIVING HIGHLIGHTS

• Senior Shoshana Werblow (Ashland, Ore./Ashland) grabbed two wins for the Pioneers in the diving events. On the 1-meter, she scored a season-best 220.55 and followed that performance with the top score on the 3-meter (238.90).
• Sophomore Hannah Chang (Great Neck, N.Y./Great Neck South) placed fifth on the 1-meter with 176.90 points.
