CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The No. 8 MIT soccer team secured a 3-0 victory over visiting Smith College in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) match Saturday afternoon at Steinbrenner Stadium.

GAME NOTES
  • MIT held a 16-2 advantage in shots on goal and 6-3 edge in corners
  • Goalkeeper Naomi Falkenberg (Sutton, Mass./Sutton) made seven saves in the first half, while Noemi Howland (South Pasadena, Calif./South Pasadena) stopped six shots in the second half for the Pioneers
