NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - The Smith College tennis season came to an end with an 8-1 loss to Wellesley in the final New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) match of the season. The Pioneers end the year with an overall record of 7-7 overall and 3-5 mark in league play. 

Match Highlights

• Smith's only win of the day came by Olivia Monos (Reading, PA/Wilson) at the No. 5 slot with a 7-6, 2-6, 10-6 win over Christina DeAgazio. 
• Coming up just short was Lili Goshgarian (Lake Forest, IL/Lake Forest) at No. 1 who fell 3-6, 6-1, 10-6.
