NORTHAMPTON - A late Babson rally gave the Beavers a 2-1 win over Smith soccer in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) clash Saturday afternoon. The loss drops the Pioneers to 5-4-3 overall and 3-2-2 in conference play. The Beavers improve to 6-5-2 on the year with a 5-1-1 mark in league action.

• 54:15 SMI 1 BAB 0 - Skyler Williams (San Diego, CA/Canyon Crest Academy) put Smith ahead early in the second half as she was taken down in front of the goal and pushed it across to go ahead 
• 61:37 SMI 1 BAB 1 - Natalie Knauf took advantage of a misplay by the Smith defense and rifled a shot to the lower right corner of the goal
• 71:29 SMI 1 BAB 2 - Cassie Lawson took the corner for the Beavers and found Olivia Maltbie whose header doubled the lead for Babson
