WORCESTER - The Smith College field hockey team fell to WPI, 7-1, in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) contest held Tuesday evening. The Engineers improved to 6-7 overall and 5-2 in conference play. Smith slips to 7-8 on the season and 4-3 in NEWMAC action.
