CARLISLE, PA - Pria Parker (Hingham, MA/Hingham) and Shams Ferver (Barre, VT/U-32) of the Smith College cross country team competed at the NCAA Division III Championship Saturday at Big Spring High School hosted by Dickinson College. The duo raced in a field of nearly 300 runners to camp their fall campaign. 

Parker was Smith's top finisher, finishing 183rd in 23:01, followed by Ferver in 184th with a time of 23:01.3.

St. Benedict's Fiona Smith won the race in 19.54.1 by finishing over a minute ahead of Natalie Bitetti of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, while Penelope Greene of SUNY Geneseo placed third in 20:59.3. Carleton won the team title with 151 points followed by NYU in second (154) and University of Chicago in third (156).
