Box Score WILLIAMSTOWN - Competing against a nationally-ranked opponent for the third time this year, the Smith College field hockey program was defeated by Williams College, 6-2, in non-conference actions on Wednesday evening. 

The Ephs entered the game ranked No. 7 in the country in the latest NFHCA National Poll and improve to 2-1. The Pioneers dip to 2-3 on the year.
