WORCESTER - Morgan Watson (Piedmont, OK/Piedmont) scored her first goal of the season to lift the Smith College soccer team to a 1-0 win at Clark University Wednesday evening in NEWMAC action.

• The Pioneers got on the board in the 17th minute on a free kick taken by Raven Tebbetts (North Haven, CT/North Haven) outside the box and found the head of Watson who beat the keeper 
• As a team, Smith held an 18-7 differential in shots, while Clark owned a 4-3 edge in corners
• Skylar Smith (Carlisle, MA/Concord-Carlisle Regional) made eight saves to earn the shutout win
