Skylar Smith (Carlisle, MA/Concord-Carlisle Regional), the third-ranked MIT soccer team earned a 5-1 win over Smith on Saturday afternoon in NEWMAC action.

- Natalie Barnouw scored twice for the Engineers in the first 23 minutes and Ayla Summer added her first goal of the year before the break
- MIT went up 4-1 thanks to Arianna Doss before Raven Tebbetts (North Haven, CT/North Haven) put Smith on the board in the 60th minute
- Alice Vranka rounded out the scoring for MIT in the 81st minute on an unassisted tally
- MIT owned a 22-2 advantage in shots and 5-1 edge in corners
