Meet Highlights

• Katherine Welsh (St. Paul, MN/Saint Paul Academy) kicked off the competition with a win on the 3-meter board with 269.48 points
• Grace Magee (Portland, OR/Oregon Episcopal) placed first in the 1000 free in 11:18.65
• Jessie Wang (Princeton, NJ/Princeton) won three events on the afternoon: the 100 back in 1:00.23. the 200 back in 2:11.56 and the 100 fly in 1:00.69
• Welsh scored 245.62 on the 1-meter board to secure the sweep
• Smith's 200 medley relay team of Wang, Emma Schultz (Hyattsville, MD/Elizabeth Seton), Ruthie Harkins (Irvine, CA/Crean Lutheran South), and Madeleine Lucas (Salem, MA/Salem) placed third in 1:58.72
• In the final event of the day, the 400 free relay of Lucas, Cady Dorrian (Jacksonville, FL/Douglas Anderson School of the Arts), Bebe Cosgrove (New Paltz, NY/New Paltz), and Magee touched the wall second in 3:54.97
