Iseul Park (Ann Arbor, MI/) made five saves to record her fifth shutout of the year.

Throughout the quarter, the Bears applied consistent pressure, with Halie Yung (San Jose, CA/Lynbrook) and Ellie Szostalo (Gorham, ME/Gorham) both having shots saved by Mount Holyoke's goalkeeper, Ainsley Gruener.
- Smith maintained an aggressive attack in the second quarter, with Sam Sparling (Croton on Hudson, NY/Croton Harmon) and Day each making multiple attempts on goal. Despite a series of shots and penalty corners, including a penalty shot by Annika Peterson (Forest Hill, MD/North Harford), Mount Holyoke's defense held firm, aided by Gruener's consistent goalkeeping and Linnea Alsted's defensive saves.
Second Half Highlights
- Smith seized the momentum early in the third quarter with a strong offensive presence. Gemma Polino (Hadley, MA/Williston Northampton) found the back of the net at 40:23, assisted by Sparling, marking her first goal of the season and extending Smith's lead. Shortly after, Peterson added to the scoreboard with another goal at 42:55, further solidifying the home team's advantage.
- Despite Mount Holyoke's attempt to respond, including a shot saved by Park, the Bears maintained control. The quarter concluded with Smith leading 3-0, showcasing a robust defensive and offensive effort.
- Smith maintained control in the fourth quarter, beginning with a shot by Isabel Johnson (Fort Worth, TX/Trinity Valley School) at 47:07, which was saved by Gruener. Despite a green card penalty to Yung, Smith's defense held firm, with Park making a key save against a shot by Diane Lee following a penalty corner for Mount Holyoke at 50:44.
