Swim & Dive Picks Up Senior Day Win Over Mount Holyoke

NORTHAMPTON - The Smith College swimming and diving team honored its four seniors before earning a 195-98 win over Mount Holyoke College Saturday afternoon at Dalton Pool. Smith's five dual meet wins this season is the most since the 2003-2004 season. 

Meet Highlights
  • Smith began the meet with a first place finish in the 200 medley as Jessie Wang (Princeton, NJ/Princeton), Emma Schultz (Hyattsville, MD/Elizabeth Seton), Maddie Milla (Nyack, NY/Nyack) and Caroline Kolmodin (Mountainside, NJ/Academy for Allied Health Sciences Union County) clocked in a time of 1:59.37
  • Grace Magee (Portland, OR/Oregon Episcopal) went on to win the 1000 free in 11:43.00
  • Kolmodin picked up victories in the 200 free (2:05.86) and 100 free (56.64)
  • Jessie Wang (Princeton, NJ/Princeton) collected three more individual wins in the 100 back (1:03.31), 200 back (2:13.42), and the 100 fly (1:00.53)
  • Cady Dorrian (Jacksonville, FL/Douglas Anderson School of the Arts) touched the wall first in the 500 free, registering a time of 5:42.73), while Schultz cruised to a win in the 200 breast in 2:41.91
  • Ruthie Harkins (Irvine, CA/Crean Lutheran South) added another win for the Pioneers in the 200 fly in 2:24.56
  • Katherine Welsh (St. Paul, MN/Saint Paul Academy) swept both boards once again as she produced a score of 322.96 on the 3-meter and a mark of 260.32 on the 1-meter.
