NORTHAMPTON - Smith College Athletics is pleased to announce the hiring of
Allison Brehm as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Bears.
"Allison is a great addition to our Athletic Training staff," said Athletic Director
Kristin Hughes. "Her experience and ability to manage student-athlete care and recovery will significantly impact all of our programs. We are excited to welcome her to Smith Athletics."
In her role, Brehm will assist with athletic injury evaluations, treatments, and rehabilitation, as well as team preparation, practice, and game coverage. Brehm will work directly with all 11 varsity sports.
"I'm excited to start my athletic training journey under the direction of such a seasoned staff," said Brehm.
As a graduate student, Brehm spent time as an athletic training student with the Wolverine ice hockey, field hockey, and men's lacrosse teams. At Iowa, Brehm also gained experience working with Harvard Women's Ice Hockey, Clemson Football, and was a Strength and Conditioning Intern at Regina Catholic High School. While at Iowa, she spent time as a research practicum intern at the Mobile Health Clinic.
Brehm earned a Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Michigan in May 2025 and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Iowa in May 2023.
