Martinez Hat Trick Powers Smith Past Clark, 8-0

Box Score NORTHAMPTON - First-year Ari Martinez (Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina/Instituto Adveniat) of the Smith College field hockey team recorded a hat trick in the Bears' 8-0 win over Clark University on Saturday afternoon. With its third-straight win, the Bears (6-5, 3-0 NEWMAC) have outscored opponents 20-1 over the last three games. The Cougars fall to 5-5 on the season and 0-3 in conference action.
