First Half
- Catalina Mozzo (Trumbull, CT/Trumbull) kept the match scoreless through an early Union (NY) push, saving shots from Hannah Sams at 6:45 and Julia Bancheri at 10:58 during a five-shot stretch.
- The Garnet Chargers broke through at 12:11 on Janalyn Weber's goal from Taylor Bovardi, then added Hannah Sams' unassisted goal at 18:27 to move ahead 2-0.
- The Bears answered in the 31st minute after Jenna Marsh (Barnstable, MA/Cape Cod Academy) hit the top woodwork, with Keala Barnes (Las Vegas, NV/Las Vegas Academy of the Arts) (Las Vegas, NV/Las Vegas Academy of the Arts) scoring at 30:40 to cut the deficit to 2-1.
- Mozzo added another save in the 44th minute on Maya Atwood, and the Bears went into halftime trailing 2-1.
Second Half
- Helena Prusak (Shaker Heights, OH/Wyoming Seminary) scored from 30 yards out at 47:21 as the Bears equalized at 2-2.
- Union moved back in front at 60:50 on Emily DeSousa's goal off Ashley Sheldon's assist. Barnes had the Bears' next shot at 62:16, and the visitors added two corner kicks before Addison MacDonald scored from Hannah Sams at 66:32 to make it 4-2.
- Union added Lucy Riggs' goal at 76:43 for a 5-2 margin, and Riley Cioffi-Smith (North Branford, CT/Cheshire Academy) saved a Sevilla Coffin shot at 82:53 before the match ended 5-2.
