Ciara O'Sullivan

Ciara O'Sullivan is a first year graduate student in the Exercise and Sport Studies program. This is her first year working with the Smith Rowing team as an assistant coach, after spending 2020 as a volunteer coach.

O'Sullivan graduated from Temple University in May 2019 where she earned a degree in Sociology while racing as a member of the DI Women's Rowing team. She helped lead the team to a top placement in the American Athletic Conference and multiple Head of the Charles appearances. Following graduation, O'Sullivan trained with the High Performance sculling team at Vesper Boat Club in Philadelphia.

O'Sullivan spent the 2020-2021 season coaching the junior girls' rowing team at Northfield Mount Hermon school in Gill, Massachusetts under head coach Lou Kinder. She spent the Summer of '21 coaching a High Performance Junior program out of Penn AC Rowing Association in Philadelphia, helping the team to a program-best finish at Summer Nationals. She also spent time coaching sculling at Craftsbury Outdoor Center in upstate Vermont.Â
