Why Smith:Â
I chose Smith because of how immediately welcomed I felt by the community as a visiting high school junior. I remember how even in my brief 15 minute or so interaction with the track team as a visiting student, I came away thinking this is the group of people I want to be surrounded by day to day. I felt the vibrancy of the team's diverse personalities and their warmth. It is an immense privilege to now be a part of that group, and to be surrounded by such enthusiastic, motivated, and driven people who push me to a higher level in athletics and academics.
