Sofie Shen begins her first season as a graduate assistant coach at Smith during the 2025-26 season.

Played for Division 3 Vassar College where Sofie was a psychology major and a studio art minor.
All four years with the Brewers, they finished national ranked, capping out her senior season with a national ranking of #22 in the country.
In 2023, Sofie ranked as high as #16 nationally in doubles with her partner Erin McCusker.
In 2021, Sofie was recognized as Rookie of the Year in the Liberty League.
Throughout her career, she was recognized as first team all-conference for doubles three times and was recognized first team all-conference for singles once.

Why are you excited about Smith? "I'm excited to work in an environment that is solely focused on the empowerment of women in athletics both as student-athletes and in administrative leadership roles. There seems to be a huge emphasis on the power of community at Smith and I am really excited to be a part of that."
