Trang Dao enters her first season as a graduate assistant coach with the tennis program in 2023 after an impressive playing and coaching career.

As a Professional Athlete:

The number one ranked player in Vietnam
A silver medalist at the South East Asian Games (2022)
Represented Vietnam as a member of their Billie Jean King Cup Team
Received multiple honors from the Vietnam Tennis Federation and from the Vietnamese government for her playing achievements.

As a Student-Athlete

Dao played for the University of New Orleans (UNO).
She was recognized as UNO Female Athlete of the Year
Dao was the Southland Conference Tennis Player of the Year

As a Coach:

Dao led her team to a 2nd place finish in the 2022 national championship, and followed that up with a 3rd place finish in the 2023 season.
