Laura Broderick

Laura Broderick enters her second season as a graduate assistant coach of the cross country and track & field teams at Smith in 2022.

 Broderick spent the last two years working for Sonoma County Tourism in Santa Rosa, California, supporting the organization in graphic design and social media management. Prior to her time working in tourism, Broderick worked for the Sonoma County Economic Development Board as a research fellow.

A 2018 graduate of Scripps College, Broderick ran cross-country and track & field for Claremont Mudd Scripps. A cross-country All-Region and two-time SCIAC All Conference student-athlete, Broderick represented CMS at the Division 3 Cross-Country National Championships her sophomore and junior years. She received the Team Unity Award her senior year, which represents a captain role among the CMS men's and women's cross-country teams.

An Economics major, Broderick was a Dean's List student and received SCIAC All-Academic honors for two years. She was also a member of the Robert Day Scholars Program in Finance and Economics. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Exercise and Sport Studies at Smith.
