Stefanie Frazee enters her seventh year with the Outdoor Adventure Program with over ten years of experience in education, leadership training, and student mentoring. She's held many certifications, including: American Canoeing Association (ACA) guide, Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician (WEMT), Personal Fitness Coach, and Leave No Trace (LNT) Trainer. After earning her B.S. in Kinesiology and Outdoor Education from the University of New Hampshire, she was a backcountry wilderness therapy guide in Utah, at-risk youth counselor, and whitewater paddling instructor.
As the Recreation Director for the Town of Durham, N.H., she established a diverse summer camp program and facilitated their master plan update; along with managing hundreds of student volunteers, community events, parks, and trail systems.
A lifelong athlete, Frazee spends her free time hiking, surfing, rock climbing, or training for half-marathons. As an adjunct member of the Smith faculty, she develops first-year student orientation programs and teaches skills courses in the department of Exercise and Sports Studies.
