Kelli Steele is entering her 22nd year as one of Smith's athletic trainers. An adjunct member of the Smith faculty, Steele is an instructor in the department of Exercise and Sports Studies.
Before coming to the Pioneer Valley, Steele was a teacher of athletic training in the Vancouver, Washington School district, helping to devise courses within the Medical Magnet School at Fort Vancouver High School. She also was an assistant athletic trainer at Central Washington University, a member of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference in Ellensburg, Wash.
A graduate of Central Washington, Steele earned a B.S. in Physical Education and Athletic Training, and added a master's, also from Central Washington.
