BABSON PARK, Mass.--Nicole Anderson recorded wins at No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles, but Smith fell at NEWMAC rival Babson 3-6 on Saturday afternoon.

Anderson teamed up with Margaret Steiner to win 8-3 at No. 2 doubles, then went solo to topple Rebecca Stone 6-3, 6-1.

Eunice Zhaoadded a three set win at No. 6 singles, battling past Ashley Lake 6-4, 4-6, 10-5.

Jaimi Inskeep came close to adding a fourth point for Smith (0-4, 0-4 NEWMAC), falling in a tough match at No. 1 singles to Sarah Whitaker 0-6, 6-1, 2-6.

Smith will take on Springfield College on October 5, starting at 4 p.m.
