Box Score WELLESLEY, Mass.--The Smith College volleyball team started New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) play with a 3-0 (19-25, 16-25, 22-25) loss to Wellesley College on Tuesday night.

The Pioneers (1-3, 0-1 NEWMAC) were led by Rosa Drummond (Rye, N.H./Portsmouth) with eight kills, while Courtney Faria (Pocasset, Mass./Bourne) had 11 assists.

Smith will be at Babson on Saturday, September 18 at 1 p.m.
