Soccer Falls To Keene State In Pouring Rain

Box Score NORTHAMPTON, Mass.--Keene State scored three goals in each half on their way to a 6-0 win over the Smith College soccer team on Thursday night.

Playing in a driving rain, the Owls (4-1-2) got the scoring started midway through the first half when Katie Bradford put home a pass from Nora Mahoney.  Kelsie Bailey added the second goal six minutes later, and Bradford got her second of the game to close out the first half scoring.

Joan Hamel, Kristen Huckins, and Melissa Dempsey added second half goals for Keene State.

Liz Gregor made eight saves for Smith.

The Pioneers (0-3) will open conference play with a trip to Mt. Holyoke on Saturday at 1 p.m
