Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--The Smith College volleyball team fell in their final two matches at the MIT Invitational on Saturday.
 
Playing against North Park (Ill.), the Pioneers (1-9) fell 3-0 (24-26, 16-25, 17-25).  Rosa Drummond (Rye, N.H./Portsmouth) had six kills, while Rebecca Gordon had 10 kills and Lauren Martinez (Phoenix, Ariz./Cortez) had 13 assists.


In the consolation against Colby, Smith fell 3-2 (18-25, 16-25, 25-18, 25-22, 13-15).  Drummond had 15 kills, six digs, and five blocks, while Lauren Martinez (Phoenix, Ariz./Cortez) had 36 assists, six kills, and a pair of aces.


Smith will return NEWMAC play with a visit from Coast Guard on September 28.
