NORTHAMPTON, Mass.--The Smith College tennis team (1-5, 1-5 NEWMAC) will play their final NEWMAC opponent of the season when they head to Worcester, Mass., to take on Clark University (0-7, 0-6 NEWMAC).

Last Meeting:  Smith secured the first win of the season with a 6-3 win over the Cougars on October 12, 2010.  The Pioneers lost two of the three doubles matches, but took the win by capturing five singles matches.  Smith got wins from Nikki Anderson (Sherborn, Mass./Dover-Sherborn), Gianna Teague (Gahanna, Ohio/Columbus Academy), Clair Oblamski (Brookfield, Wis./Brookfield East), Maggie Steiner (Madison, Conn./Academy of Our Lady of Mercy), and Eunice Zhao (Las Vegas, Nev./Liberty).

Smith Overview: Smith was swept by Wellesley 9-0 in their last meeting, despite a solid effort from the No. 1 doubles team of Jaimi Inskeep (Warrenville, Ill./Wheaton Warrenville So.) and Clair Oblamski (Brookfield, Wis./Brookfield East).  The duo were tied 6-6 with Wellesley's No. 1 doubles team before falling 8-6.

Clark Overview:  The Cougars have struggled this year, having yet to win a match.  Clark has only won a total of six points in their seven matches this season.
