NORTHAMPTON, Mass.--The final regular season road game is on hand for the Smith College soccer team (5-7, 2-4 NEWMAC), when they travel to Worcester Polytechnic Institute (5-8, 1-5 NEWMAC) on Tuesday night.

Last Meeting: WPI clinched a berth in the NEWMAC tournament with a 1-0 win over Smith on October 30, 2010. 

Last Smith Win: Dalyn Houser netted her sixth goal of the season with eight minutes left in regulation to lift Smith to a 2-1 win over the Engineers on October 6, 2007.

Smith Overview: Smith suffered a 4-1 loss to Babson in the Pioneers' last game.   Lily Eriksen (Seattle, Wash./Bush School) tied up the contest with her second goal of the season earl yin the second half, but the Beavers scored three times in the final 25 minutes.  Cody Norris (Auburn, Mass./Auburn) made 14 saves.

WPI Overview: The Engineers have lost two in a row, including a 1-0 overtime defeat to Clark on Saturday.  The Engineers have had their last three NEWMAC contests decided by one goal.

Smith Player to Watch: Eriksen has scored the last two goals for Smith, all off the bench. An efficient player, half her shots are on goal thus far this year.  

WPI Player to Watch: Megan Forti has potted four goals, and set up five on the season.
