NORTHAMPTON, Mass.--The Spring Break trip concludes for Smith with a game at Alvernia University on March 20. The Pioneers (2-2) and Crusaders (2-3) will get underway at 4 p.m.
Last Meeting: This is the first meeting between the schools.
Smith Overview: Smith comes into this afternoon's matchup on a high, having scored a season high 25 goals in a win over Albright College yesterday. Smith has scored no less than 14 goals in any game this season.
Alvernia Overview: The Crusaders are high scoring as well, averaging 15.2 per game in their first five contests this season. Defense has been an achille's heel for Alvernia though, giving up 15 goals per game and allowing 10+ goals in four of their five games this year.
Smith Player to Watch: MK Pasini (Columbus, Ohio/Bishop Hartley) is quietly having a very efficient year - eight goals on just 14 shots, scoring on 57.1% of her attempts on goal.
Alvernia Player to Watch: Allison Bainbridge has scored 14 goals and set up six more, for a team high 20 points.
