NORTHAMPTON, Mass.--The Smith College field hockey team (1-2) will look to get back to .500 when they make their home debut against Elms College (1-2) on Tuesday afternoon.
Last Meeting: Elms scored the only goal of the game in the 61st minute topping Smith 1-0 on September 13, 2011. Elms won despite being outshot 22-9 and the Pioneers having an 18-5 advantage in penalty corners.
Last Smith Win: September 15, 2010. Smith whitewashed the Blazers, winning by the biggest margin of the year, 7-0.

Smith Overview: Smith broke into the win column with an 11-0 triumph over Bay Path College on Sunday in the consolation game of the Betty Richey Tournament at Vassar College on Saturday.
Allie Stein (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer) tied her own school records for goals in a game (six) and points in a game (13).
Elms Overview: The Blazers also earned their first win of the season over the weekend with a 6-2 win over Rivier College on Saturday. Elms broke open a 2-1 game at halftime with four unanswered goals to seal the win.
Smith Player to Watch: Alexa DeJesus (Somerset, Mass./Somerset) has a goal and two assists in the first three games of the year, with seven of her 10 shots on target.
Elms Player to Watch: Goalie Alexandra Bonavita has made 33 saves in three games with a goals against average of 1.73.
