NORTHAMPTON, Mass.--The penultimate home match of the fall season begins when the Smith College tennis team (0-4, 0-4 NEWMAC) hosts Springfield College (4-3, 2-3 NEWMAC) on Tuesday afternoon.



Last Meeting: Springfield swept a 9-0 decision on October 2, 2012.

Last Smith Win: Smith grabbed a 7-2 win over Springfield on October 4, 2011.  The Pioneers swept all three doubles matches, and won at Nos. 3-6 singles for their first win of the year.

Fast Facts:  The Pride have won three straight...this is the final fall road contest for Springfield...Smith has used the same lineup for the top five singles positions this year...The Pioneers have used 10 different combinations for doubles play...

Next Up:  Smith will host Emerson College this Saturday at 1 p.m.  The Pride will host Suffolk University on Thursday at 4 p.m.
