NORTHAMPTON, Mass.--Conference play resumes for the Smith College volleyball team (13-6, 3-3 NEWMAC) when the Pioneers travel to Worcester Polytechnic Institute (6-14, 0-6 NEWMAC) on Thursday night. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Last Meeting: WPI came from down 2-1 to win 3-2 (21-25, 25-15, 25-19, 21-25, 16-18) on October 2, 2012.
The Series: Smith leads the series, 25-4. The Pioneers had won 24 straight from 1988 to 2009, but WPI has taken the last three matchups.
