NORTHAMPTON, Mass.--The final regular season road game is here for the Smith College lacrosse team (3-9, 0-3 NEWMAC) when the Pioneers travel to Babson College (5-5, 2-1 NEWMAC) on Saturday afternoon.


Last Meeting: Babson captured a 19-7 over Smith in Northampton on April 7, 2012.

Last Smith Win: The Pioneers scored a 10-9 win over the Beavers on April 9, 2000.

Smith Overview:  Smith suffered a 19-9 loss to Springfield on Tuesday afternoon.   Three of the final four games of the season are league contests for the Pioneers, who are attempting to qualify for the NEWMAC tournament for the second straight year.

Babson Overview: Babson has won four of five, including a 20-3 win over MIT in a NEWMAC matchup on Tuesday.  The Beavers are back at .500 after a 1-4 start to the season.

Smith Player to Watch: Petru Bester (Deep River, Conn./Valley Regional) has netted eight goals in her last four games, and has seven games with two goals or more.

Babson Player to Watch: Misha Beatty is one of three Babson players with more than 40 points.
