NORTHAMPTON, Mass.--The Smith College volleyball team (4-0) can set a new record for wins to open the season with a victory over Western Connecticut State (5-1) on Wednesday night. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Last Meeting: These two teams last met in 2004, with Smith claiming a 3-0 (30-16, 30-18, 30-28) win.
The Series: Smith leads 2-0 - the other meeting coming 1998. After dropping the first set, Smith claimed the next three.
