tNORTHAMPTON, Mass.--The Smith College volleyball team (8-3, 2-2 NEWMAC) heads east for a tri-match that will pit the Pioneers in a conference match against MIT (10-5, 2-1 NEWMAC) and a non-conference game against Framingham State (11-2) on Saturday.
Last Meeting (MIT): The Engineers swept Smith 3-0 (17-25, 18-25, 11-25) on September 15, 2012.
Last Meeting (Framingham State): This is the first meeting between the schools.
The Series: Smith has never played Framingham State before. Â MIT leads the series with the Pioneers 48-16.
