Box Score NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - The Smith College soccer team and Wellesley College ended in a 0-0 tie this afternoon in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference play. Today was senior day at Smith and two seniors, Jenna Bicierro (New Hyde Park, N.Y./New Hyde Park) and Olivia Ruiz (Oakland, Calif./Bentley), were honored before the game.

First-year goalkeeper Shelby Hall (West Springfield, Mass./West Springfield) posted her fifth shutout of the season, recording 12 saves on the day. It marks the fourth time this season that Hall has notched 10-plus saves. Claire Cerda made three stops for the Blue.

Wellesley almost broke the tie in the 51^st minute, as Juliette Fry's shot clanged off the right post. The Pioneers were just as unlucky in the 93^rd minute when sophomore Innis Hitt (Arlington, Va./Yorktown)'s shot thudded off the crossbar and rolled out of harms way.

Sophomore Jackie Foody (Weston, Mass./Weston) led Smith with five shots, two of which were on goal. Sumner Hanula also took five shots for Wellesley.

Smith's record now stands at 5-6-3 and 3-3-2 in conference play while Wellesley moves to 8-7-3 and 2-5-1 on the season.

The Pioneers will close out the home portion of their regular-season schedule against Mount Holyoke College on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
