Game Preview: Basketball vs. Brandeis

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – The fourth-seeded Smith College basketball team (17-11) heads to Endicott to take on eighth-seeded Brandeis University (14-12) in the second semifinal of the 2014 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Women's Basketball Championship on Saturday. The game will begin 30 minutes following the 4:00 p.m. semifinal game between second-seeded Endicott College (21-7) and sixth-seeded Framingham State University (18-11).
 
Last Meeting: Brandeis defeated the Pioneers 62-33 on November 20, 1999 in the only game between the two programs not under the NEW 6 or NEW 8 banner.
 
The Series: The Judges have a 10-6 advantage while 15 of the 16 meetings occurred in the NEW 6 (1984-1987) and NEW 8 (1987-1995) eras.
