NORTHAMPTON, Mass.--The final home game of the season begins at 7 p.m. when the Smith College volleyball team (5-21) hosts Suffolk University (7-20) on Tuesday night. Smith will honor their only senior, Mei-Li Smith (Cypress, Calif./Cypress), before the game.
Senior Send-off: Mei-Li Smith (Cypress, Calif./Cypress) is a four year member of the volleyball team. Throughout her career, she has totaled 693 kills-good for 10th on the all-times kills list and on Tuesday, Smith reached the 1,000 career assist mark, which puts her 10th all-time. Earlier this season, Mei-Lei became the 13th player in Pioneers volleyball history to record 1,000 digs. She's produced over 100 service aces in her career and was named to the All-Tournament team of the 2015 Volleyball Hall of Fame Tournament.
Last Meeting: Smith topped the Rams, 3-0 (25-13, 25-15, 25-12) on October 3, 2008.
The Series: This is only the second meeting all-time between these two schools. Smith leads 1-0.
