Box Score SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – Simone Lawrence (Springfield, Mass./MacDuffie School) scored in her final career game, but it wasn't enough to lead the Smith lacrosse team to victory. The Pioneers dropped a 15-6 decision at Mount Holyoke College in the season finale for both teams.

Lawrence's goal came just 6:09 into the first half. It cut Mount Holyoke's lead in half, and first-year Julia Hamilton (Williamstown, Mass./Deerfield Academy) added the equalizer to tie the contest, 2-2 with 20:14 remaining in the first stanza.

The Lyons answered with an 8-0 spurt, and never led by less than seven in the second half.

Senior Jessica Lillquist (East Lyme, Conn./East Lyme) notched two assists, while Myran finished with two goals. Hamilton scored a goal and added in assists, while junior Rachel Silveria (Dunstable, Mass./Groton-Dunstable) tallied her 36^th goal of the season.

First-year goalkeeper Sarah Price (Hudson, Ohio/Hudson) made 13 saves, finishing with a conference-best 182 saves.

The Pioneers end the season with a 4-12 overall record, and a 1-7 record in conference play.
