Box Score NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – Elizabeth Peay (Lebanon, Conn./Lyman Memorial) recorded seven kills and Julie Voorhes (Ramona, Calif./Ramona) added 13 digs, but the Smith College Volleyball Team (1-2) fell in four sets to Simmons (3-2) on Tuesday night in Ainsworth Gymnasium.

The Pioneers took the opening set 25-17 before the Sharks stormed back, winning the next three 25-11, 25-17, and 25-17. 

Peay posted 12 digs of her own as she, Voorhes, and Xela Miller (Granada Hills, Calif./James Monroe) (10) were each in double figures.

Macarena Rojas (Maipu, Santiago, Chile/Liceo No. 1 Javiera Carrera) dished out 15 assists on 28 Smith kills, and finished with five kills of her own. 

Smith returns to the court on Friday when the Pioneers host the 2015 Smith Invitational, featuring Husson, Manhattanvile, Middlebury, and Ursinus.  Smith and Ursinus open play at 6 p.m.
