THE SERIES
Smith and MIT will meet for the 37th time on Saturday afternoon in a series that began in 1985 - a 2-0 Engineer win. The Pioneers lead 19-15-2.

LAST MEETING
Emily Smith (Winchester, Mass./Winchester) netted the game-winner in the 84th minute to power the Smith soccer team to 2-1 win over MIT on October 17, 2015. This was the first win for the Pioneers over the Engineers in the last 10 meetings.

LAST MIT WIN
Junior Morgan Moroi and freshman Olivia Struckman each located the back of the Smith net as MIT defeated the Pioneers, 2-0, on October 18, 2014.

SCOUTING THE ENGINEERS
MIT enters today's contest as winners of eight of the last nine games after their 2-1 victory over Wellesley Tuesday night. In that game, freshman Allie Werner registered her first collegiate goal and th game-winner. The Engineers return three NEWMAC All-Conference selections in 2016 including senior goalkeeper Lauren Ullmann, junior forward Olivia Struckman and sophomore midfielder Allie Hrabchak. Last season, Ullman also earned New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) All-New England honors, while Hrabchak was named as the NEWMAC Rookie of the Year, the ECAC Division III New England Rookie of the Year, and to both the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-New England Team and the NEWISA All-New England Team. Ullmann boasts a 0.85 goals against average and .817 save percentage. Freshman Montana Reilly and Struckman each have six goals this season. The Crimson and Gray average 2.00 goals per game and took the top spot in the NEWMAC Preseason Coaches Poll.

SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
Smith looks to rebound after their 3-1 loss to Keene State Thursday night. In that game, first-year Reilly Sullivan (Keene, N.H./Keene) scored for the Pioneers with seven seconds left to play in the first half. Junior forward Jordan Isaacs (Weston, Conn./Weston) leads the team with seven goals and five assists for 19 points followed by senior forward Emily Smith (Winchester, Mass./Winchester), who has seven goals and three assists. Isaacs ranks in the top five in the NEWMAC in points, goals and assists. Hall (0.90 gaa/.826 save pct) and Biasin (0.80 gaa/.865 save pct) have been solid in net throughout the season. Smith leads the NEWMAC averaging 3.14 goals per game and were selected to finish sixth in the Preseason Coaches Poll.
